Head over Heels! Nine Shoe Panel

This panel is made from the original paintings I used when making my Head over Heels! quilt. I designed the quilt and hand painted each square.  The shoes have been digitally reproduced on Quilt Store Quality 4 ounce Kona cotton. Each square measures about 12 inches. On the right side of the panel is an 6 inch x 36 inch bonus section!! It contains the Tiny Tossed Shoes. You can use it for corner blocks, sashing, or part of the quilt back.  The price will also include a detailed layout and cutting instructions for the Head over Heels! quilt.  The cost of this stunning nine shoe panel (with bonus section! & tutorial) will be $25 USD plus $5 USD for shipping (shipping out of USA will be calculated upon receiving your order) . I accept PayPal payments or you may mail me a check. These arrangements can be made after your have contacted me by filling out the Contact Form on this site.

For shoe lovers that are not quilters, you might want to order this classy fabric in a 6 ounce cotton. It would be wonderful for re-covering a chair, a cushion or perhaps a stool!! The heavier weight is ideal for home dec projects, purses, and totes! It too is 42 inches wide and available for $25 USD per yard, plus $5 USD shipping. (shipping out of USA will be calculated upon receiving your order)

The fabric samples shown here are about Fat Quarter size, each shoe being approximately 2 inches.

Patterns for Painting the Shoes

Paint Patterns

After so much interest in my painted quilts, I decided to take two roads in answer to many requests. If you are interested in the patterns and instructions I have for sale, please fill out the Contact Form on this blog. The cost is 3 shoe patterns for $5 USD, 6 for $10, or all  9 patterns for $15.  I will email you tutorial instructions and the patterns for you to print out. You will have the fun of painting your own shoe quilt squares. If you don’t have a printer, I will be happy to USPS mail print outs of both the pattern and the instructions. There will be an additional shipping charge of $1 USD  for the first 6 patterns, $.50 for each additional 3 patterns. I accept PayPal payments or you may mail me a check. These arrangements can be made after your have contacted me.  Use Contact Me form to order or ask questions.

This is what each pattern will look like. This way you have a pattern and a color model to look at while you paint from my instructions.

WARNING: DON’T LET THE QUILT POLICE CATCH YOU WITHOUT A LABEL ON YOUR FABULOUS QUILTS!!

You can order one of these labels to sew on the back of your wonderful “Painted Quilts”!  Just let me know in the Contact Form that you want to add one of these to your fabric order.  They are just $2. Simply use a good fabric gel pen to add your personal information, then stitch on the back of your quilt.  Don’t forget to date it too.

These shoes were made for dancing! My husband and I actually took lessons so we wouldn’t embarrass ourselves too bad at our daughter’s wedding 5 years ago. We get out on the floor and we promptly forgot everything we learned! The box step and swaying back and forth was pretty much our dances. hehehehe….love the little shoes….my 3 year old granddaughter was clogging around in her plastic heels just this afternoon…driving her momma a bit nuts I might add with all the stomping.

  29. I would like to order one panel of your 9 shoes, and 1 yard of the 4 oz coordinating fabric. Is there a combined shipping cost? I do not like the extra paypal fees, so I would prefer to send a check, of course, expecting you to wait for it to clear before you send your beautiful fabric. I don’t see an address, or order form. Help please. Thank you. M

Reminder again please? How big are each of the squares on your shoe quilt material? Thanks. m

    • Mary, the painted shoe squares are 12 inch square each. When I used them in my quilt, I cut them to 10.5″ x 12″ because I wanted the quilt to be rectangular. Hope that helps you visualize the squares.
      Thanks for asking…Jeannie

  33. You have done a wonderful job on your web site. It’s great to see the finished quilt after watching it come together block by block on the forum.Congratulations and Good Luck with your future adventures. Mary
